Meet the Team at Christine March School of Dance

Ellie is professionally trained in musical theatre and has been working in the industry for over 20 years. She has worked in West End theatre, film and television throughout her career.

Ellie is the assistant choreographer for the Tiller Girls and is very proud to be part of the celebrated and iconic dance group. She has appeared on numerous TV shows and West End stages with the Tiller Girls. She was assistant choreographer when they appeared in the award winning Christmas show, Pantoland at the London Palladium.

Ellie also teaches at professional colleges across the uk and is part of the CYD? faculty.

I grew up dancing alongside my two older brothers and
my family has been involved with the dance school since 1998. Throughout the
years of training at the studio I have been offered some amazing opportunities
thank you to Mrs Flowers and Mrs Lane. I’ve performed in many theatres
I have trained at the christine march school of dance since the age of 2, ever
since the day i stepped through the studio doors i have had a strong passion for
dance.
res across the UK and performed in Disneyland Paris. I’ve trained with
professional dancers such as Wayne Sleep, Louie Spence, Oti Mabuse and James
Lomas. Who have all inspired me during my dance journey. I have also gained
great experiences through training at Urdang and Pineapple studios in London and
with the English youth ballet in 2018.

At Christine March Dance we are proud to be part of the Association of American
Dancing. Throughout the years I have taken part in the galas at Blackpool Winter
Gardens and the scholarships in Buxton. These are excellent events run by the
AAD that have improved my performance skills. I started taking exams at the age
of 5, this pushed my ability level and improved my technique. In 2023 I took my
first two student teacher exams in the subjects of acrobatics and tap. I really
enjoyed the process of training and studying for these examinations. Although it
was hard work and took many months of practice I successfully passed.

I am proud to offer my services as a dedicated and passionate dance instructor
to the students at CMSD. My goal is to inspire and empower the students to reach
their full potential, both as dancers and as individuals. Mrs Flowers and Mrs
Lane taught me valuable life lessons and so much more than just dance steps. It
is clear that they both have genuine love and passion for their job and this
positively reflects on the students and the school as a hole. They have both
motivated me to strive to become the best dance teacher I can. They are truly my
inspiration.

Hi my name is Millie Short I’m 24 years old with a passion for all things performing. I attended Christine March School of dance myself from just 2 1/2 years of age and it’s where my love for performing began. I trained in all disciplines ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, modern and drama. I am also a singer and was a part of the world renowned choir Cantamus performing in various famous stages namely the Sydney Opera House and the Notre Dame Cathedral. I furthered my dance, singing and drama knowledge by going to university and gained a 1st class bachelor of honors degree in Musical theatre triple threat at Chichester Conservatoire. After gaining my degree I signed by my agent Network Artist Management this is where I gained my first cruise contract as a lead vocalist on board MSC Grandiosa with Ladybug Production company. Following this I got offered another lead vocalist role on board MSC Grandiosa again but this time with Ted Productions company performing in the circus shows onboard. I also am an avid Aerialist, trained in silks, hoop, straps and corde lisse, with a 6 meter rig in my garden I have lots of practice time and with my aerial silks teaching qualification I also take on some private lesson students in the summer months. I’ve also had some experience working on TV and advert sets as an extra, I can’t disclose more information as it’s currently not aired yet but will be airing on the BBC soon.

I’m Caroline Lane, and I’ve been trained in all major dance disciplines by my mother, Christine, performing both amateur and professionally.
With a DBS/Paediatric first aid and a chaperone licence, your child’s safety and development are our top priorities.
