Observation

Observers are not permitted in the classroom during class. There will be an end-of-class observation at the end of the month. Please keep noise levels down while waiting and be on time for pick-up.

Missed Classes

There will be no deductions for missed lessons except in cases of prolonged illness. Classes may be made up in another class of similar age and ability level.

Bad Weather Cancellations

In case of bad weather, all cancellations will be posted on our WhatsApp group message, social network pages, and class manager (Facebook & Instagram). We will also email those signed up for the alert system for affected classes.

Class Withdrawals

If you wish to be moved or removed from a class for any reason, please notify Mrs Lane by email (cmsd0607@gmail.com) or phone 07809776276.

Holiday Performances

We organise small performances around the holidays at local retirement homes. This provides students with performance opportunities and brings joy to the residents. Simple costumes are required for these performances.

Annual Show

Each year, we hold a recital to showcase what was taught during the year. The recital is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. Tickets will be sold in the beginning of May via our online ticketing system.

WhatsApp Group

You will be added to our WhatsApp group to keep you up to date with the latest information, including urgent messages, reminders, and adverts for new classes.

New to Our School

You will receive an email to welcome you to our school. This includes access to our class manager app, where you can view invoices, buy dancewear, view holiday dates, and manage your personal data. Please inform Mrs Lane of any allergies, illnesses, or personal information we should be aware of. We also take photos of our dancers for advertising purposes, so please let us know if you accept photos.

Payments

For the first two weeks, you may pay per lesson, and from then onwards, you will receive a monthly invoice. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to pay the monthly payment on time. Payments can be made online, by card, cash, or direct debit through the class manager or GoCardless. If paying at the studio, use the drop box located in the office if no one is at the desk. Envelopes are for cash only. Include your name, class time, and amount paid on the envelope.
