Tiny Toes – Dance Basics is a delightful class tailored for 1 to 3-year-olds, focusing on the fundamentals of ballet. Children explore basic ballet movements, enhancing their balance, confidence, and coordination. The class starts with a gentle ballet warm-up, followed by fun stretches on the floor. Throughout the class, little ones are encouraged to dance, creating beautiful moments for both child and parent. This class is a heartwarming experience and is also included in our annual recital, allowing our youngest dancers to showcase their newfound skills on stage. Engaging Mini Movers for Young Dancers
Mini Movers is an engaging class designed for our younger dancers, aged 3 to 5 years old. Students begin with a series of stretches to warm up their bodies before moving on to activities such as bridges, backward rolls, and handstands. They also start learning more challenging skills appropriate for their age, including backbends and cartwheels. Placement in this class is based on age and ability, ensuring that each student is appropriately challenged. As the class progresses, the level of difficulty increases, helping students develop their skills and confidence. Parents will be notified if a change in placement is recommended to best support their child’s progress.

In our Ballet class, students will discover the beauty and grace of the Association of American Dance method. Dressed in uniform, students will learn the foundational techniques of ballet, including barre work and floor work. They will also learn ballet terminology and proper dance etiquette. Pointe is offered to advanced students aged 13 and up, and placement in the class is at the teacher’s discretion. To participate in pointe, students must have strong feet and ankles to prevent injuries and ensure a safe and successful experience.

Modern Stage, also known as musical theatre dance, is a style of dance that is popular in musical theatre productions. Dancers in this class are often referred to as “triple threats” because of their ability to sing, dance, and act.
